Slap wings work great, beautiful wings, adorable face.
We loved it. My 9 yr old son picked it as one of his gifts for his girlfriend. The wings are beautiful. Material is soft and velvety. Colors are beautiful and vibrant. The butterfly face is adorable and happy. Its a really nice size, its pretty big but not too big. We loved the slap bracelet wings. We didn't notice that detail on the description so it was a fun surprise. We found them to be the perfect strength to keep the wings open unless u bend them and to curl effectively around itself or something else. It was very comfortable wrapped around my wrist and im super picky cuz I have fibromyalgia which makes most touch uncomfortable. The wings didn't seem hard to open to me or my kids at all and they stayed open unless we bent them. My son and I thought it wonderful, exceeded our expectations and we are sure his girlfriend will love it. We also got her those 3d wall butterflies too. All together was a super cute and useful gift for under $20. This butterfly was a great value for around $7 I would have adored it when I was little.

So cute!
I bought the Monarch Butterfly Hugger by Wild Republic for my 5 year old grandchild and she absolutely loves it. She wears it on her arm or leg (it works the same way snap bracelets do with the snapping bits inside the wings.) It's larger than I thought it would be, the outer plush is very soft, and the wings either wrap around your arm or the butterfly's body, or they can be outstretched. Lots of imaginary play with it, and also a nice snuggle buddy. Love it!

My son is very into butterflies right now and he absolutely loves this! The only thing I don’t really care for is that the wings are like slap bracelets, I assumed they were wired when I made the purchase (my mistake) He doesn't use this as a “hugger” and he’s unable to extend them by himself which leads to frustration. I should have probably just bought a traditional plush toy that didn’t have the slap bracelet like wings but that’s on me. The quality and softness of the butterfly is great and the colors are vibrant and monarch like!

Beautiful Stuffed Animal
My 2 year old daughter loves ladybugs, butterflies and caterpillars and she was so excited about this butterfly. It’s beautiful in person and well made. It does have a slap band inside so the butterfly can clasp into her stroller or you can just wrap the butterflies wings around herself like a swaddle. It makes a great gift!

Beautiful
Good quality & my 4 year old loves it! The wings have snap bands in (the ones you would wear on your wrist as a kid), but aren’t flimsy at all! The butterfly is quite big too! My child thinks it’s hilarious when the wings snap shut and curl up - he wears it on his arm when walking about. Don’t think this would be suited for a very small child who can’t straighten the wings out easily themselves - the wings do snap shut rapidly so not a ‘cuddly’ toy as such. The material is soft and silky though. Great purchase & love the concept!
