Quality for the Avid Writer
I got this journal in turquoise, and I’m really impressed. The hardcover feels sturdy and high-quality, and the leather texture is super nice to hold. The pages are thick, so no worrying about ink bleeding through, which is great for both writing and/or sketching. It’s a perfect size for Bible journaling, which is important to me, and I love that it comes with a gift box. This would make a really thoughtful gift. Overall, it’s elegant, practical, and a joy to use.

A great notebook journal for whatever purpose you have in store for it.
It's really great! It's quality is magnificent by that it's a leather lined hardcover that ensures the longevity of the journal itself. The first four pages are an index so that you're able to keep track and locate items throughout the book as the pages are numbered as well. Each page also has a dedicated spot for the date and a small header if you'd like. The paper is thick enough that the ink doesn't bleed through and the paper absorbs the ink quickly also which reduces smearing. I use a wordsworth and black fountain pen so the quality of the paper is very important factor when deciding the overall quality of a notebook because of the type of ink fountain pens use and the amount that is fed out also. This passes the paper quality test and overall its definitely worth every penny as it's one the best quality manufactured notebook journals I've came across thus far. There's also an elastic band that keeps the cover closed, an small elastic band to keep a pen in, and a securable keepsake pouch inside the back cover. Overall 5 stars for quality, durability, paper thickness, organization, securability, and value.

Classic in every way
This is an old school journal that is classically made and very high quality. The binding, the cover, the thickness of the pages. Everything screams quality. The pages are lined and hold ink well. No smudges or bleeding through. There are ribbons for bookmarks. The cover feels like leather, but is vegan friendly. The red color is bold, but again, still classic. It catches the eye without being gaudy. Love this journal. My star ratings explained: 5 stars = Exceptional. I recommend to friends. 4 stars = Exceeded expectations. 3 stars = Met expectations. Satisfied with purchase but not overwhelmed. 2 stars = Failed to meet expectations but usable. 1 star = Avoid

Beautiful gift-worthy item, heavy (120 GSM) paper, 2 bound bookmarkers and a storage pocket.
I already knew W&B made high-quality products, so I didn't hesitate to order this when it became available, and I am not the least bit disappointed. It is bound like a book, with sewn "signatures" (see images), two bound-in satin ribbon bookmarks, a handy storage pocket inside the back cover, and an attached elastic band to hold it all closed. The paper, 120 GSM, has a very smooth finish. With water-based inks such as in fountain pens there is no bleed-through, and although there is *very* faint shadowing on the next page with dark inks, it's barely perceptible. (see images). Once you start writing on that back side you likely won't notice it. This item would make a wonderful gift to any student, artist, or author, and I can definitely recommend it.
