WOW this is truly a "beautiful" book - full of tips and techniques. I do have almost all of Terry's Books, and this is the best one yet to date! It's perfect also for those just beginning to work with watercolor, and great for those old talented soles! It's just jam packed full of wonderful paintings (that you can do) and will want to do. The way Terry uses color really does come through in this beautiful book. I have "a lot" of "How To Watercolor" books and have to say that this one is by far worth the investment. I have made the mistake of buying a Watercolor book based on the few pages shown here and there and not read the reviews that other's are leaving, maybe had I read the reviews I would have saved money (a lot of money). You won't come away disapointed with this one. I like Terry's style of painting because although he leaves enough finished work for you to use your own imagination yet it's not so sloppy as to make one wonder if "an artist" even had an imagination at the time they put their Art and Instruction into print. As in just about anything in the world "Art" is truly in the eye of the beholder, for me Terry's style works and he teaches technique's that are easy for me to follow. I have to say I like Terry's style I have learned so much from him. I love this book it is "beautiful" and easy to learn how to follow what he is doing here. . I know that you're going to really like this one it is beautiful and informative!

Es la segunda parte del libro "Brush with watercolour". Es un gran libro, con explicaciones sencillas sobre lo aparentemente complicado de la técnica. Cualquier libro de este autor es sensacional para aprender la técnica de acuarela y trucos que otros no enseñan.

Lovely book, with lovely pictures of landscapes.
Really excellent book, large size, so you can see the details in the pictures without having to squint. Good info on brushes, a bit of colour mixing advice, techniques and some tips such as that Terry uses soap on his brushes before using masking fluid, so that the fluid does not stick to the brush. Not tried this yet, so do not know if it works. I think this is a book I like owning just to look at the lovely pictures to get ideas or copy them. There are a few projects to follow as well.

Excellent for beginners to watercolour
I’m a beginner to watercolours! I have used acrylics before & trying to work out the difference between the two mediums has been confusing! This book arrived today and I’m so happy with it, Terry Harrison explains clearly, the different techniques involved in watercolour as well as advice on brushes and paint colours. I like his style of painting too. 128 pages of great advice. Thankyou Amazon for having a great sale on this book!

Bonjour, encore un Terry Harrison à la hauteur de ces valeurs de grand artiste. Un ouvrage très intéressant, des paysages magique qui vous emporte lorsque vous les travaillés. Comme toujours des pas à pas pour expliqués des détails, les couleurs utiliser par chaque peinture sont indiqué, par contre vous ne trouverez pas d'esquisse pour réaliser les paysages dans ses livres. Malgré cela je pense qu'il peuvent être utile pour les débutants tout comme pour les artistes confirmer. Je dit pour les débutants car les pas à pas donner dans ses ouvrages peuvent servir d'exercices et sont très bien expliqué en images bien entendu en couleurs, certains ouvrages de cette artiste sont en français, si il sont on anglais pas besoin de savoir lire l'anglais les images suffise pour travaillé.
